Avoid same mistake

We hired them a while ago for our bathrooms renovation. Project constantly delayed, we are going through multiple contractors, payments ahead of work or materials delivery. Materials delivered wrong or missing, refusal to ship correct items, zero response to our complaints, holding one extra payment we made, and project went over the agreed price. Save your time, money and stress. Our worst mistake we ever did.

My complaint is not one issue. MADE never sent anyone to fix the problem with the master bathtub, never gave me any access to details regarding change order My vanity in master bathroom is warped. I could go on forever with everything that went wrong with your company, but now youve sent me a demand for payment letter?

Unethical business practices and terrible customer service

We have completed two bathroom remodels with MADE in San Francisco between this year and last and our family's experience has been truly HORRIBLE and TRAUMATIC. I cannot warn other potential clients and consumers enough about this poorly managed, unethical company.

Quite simply put, MADE DOES BAD BUSINESS.

We put countless hours into dealing with MADE and its contractors, and ended up managing the project entirely ourselves, with great hassle and inordinate stress nearly every step of the way. MADE is a very unprofessional middleman that actually HINDERED the work for both our subcontracted contractor and for us. Our designated project managers shifted three times throughout the year, and there was very little continuity in the management of our project. We had to redesign the bathrooms multiple times after "final" approval because basic measurements and functionalities were unimplementable.

The wrong plans were sent to the contractor multiple times. Our project took OVER A YEAR to complete, solely due to MADE's ridiculous mismanagement and sheer ineptitude. MADE staff often took weeks to respond and to move forward on our projects, even when we desperately pleaded to complete them in a timely manner. There was (and continues to be) a complete LACK OF TRANSPARENCY about costs that have nearly doubled from our original contract amount, WITHOUT our knowledge and without our approval.

MADE was ununcommunicative and unresponsive, and the schedule was pushed back multiple times due to GROSS NEGLIGENCE in the management of our projects. Our family was left without our home for nearly half a year beyond the timeline we were promised initially, and we had to hire other contractors to fix damage and messes left by the teams they hired to do the work onsite. Financial compensation was promised to us in writing, and we have yet to see a dime of that.

Furthermore, we continue to experience problems with the workmanship onsite that have not been remedied. I could go on and on, very sadly.
